Do you think you own the fastest Land Rover in the country?
There can only be one way to find out. The competition will be run in association with tuning specialist Twisted Performance and tyre company BFGoodrich, who will provide a new set of tyres for the winner.
It is open to Defenders of 90 or 110 specification. There will be two categories to compete in; standard production line vehicles that have been performance enhanced using commercially available retro-fit kits. The second category is open to standard vehicles that have been retro-fitted with a performance engine.
The event will test not only straight line speed but lap times also. The performance day, at Bruntingthorpe aerodrome in Leicestershire, will take place on Tuesday 29 September and costs £100 plus VAT per vehicle.
